一、中央社2013年1月10日報導：【日本媒體引述防衛省相關人士的話說，中國大陸包含軍機在內的10多架飛機今天上午在東海上空逼近日本所設定的防空識別圈，日本自衛隊戰機緊急升空因應。「日本放送協會」（NHK）報導，其中有部分飛機飛入日本的防空識別圈。日機升空因應不久後，大陸飛機飛離航空識別圈，未侵犯日本領空。有關中國大陸對於釣魚台周邊海域的監視常態化一事，日本政府發言人、內閣官房長官菅義偉今天在首相官邸（行政中心）的例行記者會上表示：「釣魚台列嶼從歷史上、國際上來看，都是我國固有的領土，無法接受中國基於片面主張的言行，也為此感到至為遺憾，將持續做好萬全的戒備。」】

二、防空識別區(Air Defense Identification Zone，ADIZ)

     根據美國聯邦航空總署（Federal Aviation Administration, FAA）之航空法規（Federal Aviation）的《FAR Part 99》定義：Air defense identification zone (ADIZ) means an area of airspace over land or water in which the ready identification, location, and control of all aircraft (except for Department of Defense and law enforcement aircraft) is required in the interest of national security.

三、飛航情報區（Flight Information Region，FIR）

  1、國際民航組織（International Civil Aviation Organization ，ICAO）所劃定之範圍。

  2、依《飛航規則》第2條定義，飛航情報區係指提供飛航情報及守助服務所劃定之空域。

四、領空

  1、根據《Paris Convention on the Regulation of Aerial Navigation (1919)》第1條， The High Contracting Parties recognise that every Power has complete and exclusive sovereignty over the air space above its territory。類似的文字也規範在後來的《Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation (1944)》。

  2、根據《Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation (1944)》第2條，For the purposes of this Convention the territory of a State shall be deemed to be the land areas and territorial waters adjacent thereto under the sovereignty, suzerainty, protection or mandate of such State.
